Tattoo Pricing
At Holy Seraphim Tattoo, we aim to keep pricing as transparent as possible. Every tattoo is unique, and factors like size, detail, and color vs. black and gray all play a role in the final cost.
The pricing on this page is meant to give you a general idea of what to expect. Once we talk through your design, you’ll receive a more accurate quote.
Hourly Charging
Hourly rates vary by artist. At our shop, rates typically range from $140 to $200 per hour. Each artist sets their own pricing, which you can view on their individual profile on the Tattoo Artists page.
The hourly rate is not charged during set-up/tear down, design time, stenciling, or breaks.
There is a $50 set up fee for any tattoo that requires stenciling or freehand drawing.
Minimum Rate
Our shop minimum is $100, regardless of size.
- Tattoos taking less than 45 minutes are priced at $100
- 45 minutes to 1 hour: $150
- 1 hour and up: charged at the artist’s hourly rate
A set-up fee may apply at the one hour mark, depending on the design and placement complexity. The minimum may be different depending on the artist, please check our Tattoo Artist page prior, it will be listed if their minimum is different.
Day Rates
Some of our artists offer day rates for medium-large, more involved projects. This approach simplifies pricing and removes much of the guesswork for both the artist and client. You have the artist's undivided attention for the time booked, and don't need to stress about counting hours.
Day rates include design time, set-up/tear down, stenciling, free-handing and all breaks.
Half Day (11:00–2:00): $550
Half Day (2:00-4:00): $400
Full Day (11:00–4:00): $875

Flat Rates
Some artists offer flat-rate pricing for certain tattoos. This is most commonly applied to pre-drawn flash or designs where the artist has a clear understanding of the final value.
In these cases, pricing is based on the piece itself rather than the time it takes to complete.
Flat rates include design time, set-up/tear down and all breaks.
